ALTAR SERVER TRAINING
|
| |
Those children
who are interested in serving Masses for weekdays, more importantly
Sunday Masses, Weddings and Funerals are given a series of training
usually for the 5th grades of our Parish in the fall
season.
Those parents
whose schedule can accommodate to encourage and follow regularly the
schedules of their children should submit a permission slip to serve
from 5th grade through 8th and thereafter.
High school students are highly encouraged to continue to assist at
Masses as the experienced altar servers.

Altar Server Trip to Rye Playland |
| |

Thanks to Msgr. Barry for allowing Fr. John to take our Altar Servers
and choir children – 90 of them including 13 chaperones to Rye
Playland in two buses and a few cars on June 22nd. The
weather was great. The children left at 9:45am from the Parish and
came back at 4:30pm – everyone safely.
Thanks to everyone who was involved in the trip for making it such a
success, especially Mr. Larry Wilson and Mrs. Linda Vedral who
coordinated with Fr. John in everyway. A big thank you to both!
The
children had a great time. Thanks to St. Barnabas and God Almighty.
