Rosary
The vocal recitation of the rosary is prayed every weekday morning at 8:00am (streamed live on our Facebook Page) and also following the 12noon Mass on Saturdays.
Eucharistic Adoration
Eucharistic Adoration is a devotion to and worship of Jesus Christ who is present in the Blessed Sacrament. It is more than gazing at the host displayed on a monstrance, but a continuation of what is celebrated on the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. Saint Barnabas conducts Adoration every Friday from 9:00am to 6:00pm normally in the Main. Church.
Miraculous Medal Novena
Miraculous Medal Novena is a private devotion inspired by Saint Catherine Laboure’s vision of the Blessed Mother who instructed Saint Catherine that the Mother of God wants to hear our intentions and needs and that she will aide us in our prayer. Saint Barnabas Parish prays this novena every Tuesday at the 8:30am Mass.
Lectio Divina
Lectio Divina is the pious practice of the holy reading and praying over the Scriptures. It is practiced either in a group or privately. The method can be the reading of a section of scripture, understanding its message, praying to God to be inspired by its message and determining how to apply the message to everyday life. Saint Barnabas has several cells. Each cell meeting time will be listed in the bulletin when the schedule is ready for publication.
